Fishing Charters We will start cod fishing on Stellwagen Bank, on Monday, April 16, 2012. The boats are out of Scituate, Mass. Book now for some great spring cod fishing in April and May. In June tuna fishing begins. Scituate is on the coast, half way between Boston and Plymouth, Mass. We depart from the Mill Wharf Marina in Scituate. |
Where and what time of year do we fish? I am fortunate to do charters with great people like Capt. Jay Berggren, Enoch, Capt. Bob Green, Elizabeth Marie, and Capt. Jon Perette on Da Tiki Man. (All Scituate Mass. boats.) Where we fish has some of the best fishing on the East Coast, for tuna, shark, cod, haddock, pollack, striped bass, and bluefish. We do our fishing out of the Mill Wharf Marina, in Scituate Mass. We have a good harbor, great people-and with plenty of accommodations for charters, within walking distance of the boats. You won't find a better place to charter from. Our fishing season is from mid-April into mid-November. The distances traveled out to the fishing grounds vary from 17 miles to 30 miles depending where we anticipate the best fishing is going to be. We catch tuna, sharks, cod and haddock through October. Shark fishing is best from late July through October. We also cod/haddock fish while sharkfishing. We take up to 6 passengers. We supply all the bait and tackle necessary for any trip. All info. is available on the boats, and rates, on the links above. It's a long winter, and we are looking forward to gettin out there. |
Both boats use top quality rods, and Shimano high speed Torium 30 reels for codfishing. You do not need a saltwater license as these charterboats have that covered. |
